Expect Miracles Foundation is currently seeking a full-time Operations & Administrative Manager to join its small, hardworking team to help advance its mission to improve the lives of people impacted by cancer. This person will report to the Executive Director and be responsible for critical operational and administrative functions of the Foundation, while also assisting the programs team with the grant application and payout process.

We are looking for someone reliable, organized, and proactive to provide general and administrative support to Expect Miracles Foundation staff whose responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Executive Director in managing the organization’s business/office/operational needs, including company insurance and employee benefits
  • Managing office mail and depositing checks
  • Providing support to program staff and grant applicants during quarterly Samfund grant cycles and payouts
  • Assisting with monthly payroll and benefits
  • Maintaining company records, contact lists, and records in Salesforce database
  • Booking travel and accommodations
  • Assisting with the preparation of records for our annual audit
  • Helping with events-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations and administrative work
  • Passion for Expect Miracles Foundation’s mission and work
  • Proficiency in the basics of accounting
  • Confidence with Excel spreadsheets
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Terrific work ethic and a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative while collaborating within a small team
  • Aptitude for technology, including MS Office, Quickbooks, and Mac computer
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Full-time. Salary commensurate with experience. Benefits include: health insurance (70% company contribution), dental insurance (100% employee contribution), group life insurance, retirement plan.
