About JFF:

Jobs for the Future (JFF) drives transformation of the American workforce and education systems to achieve equitable economic advancement for all.

About the position:

The Individual Giving team works across all units to support strategic fundraising from high-net-worth individual (HNWI) donors. We seek out new funding opportunities and support existing relationships between JFF and high-capacity donors by doing prospective funder research, identifying and assessing funding opportunities as well as raising JFF’s visibility among donor networks. JFF is highly regarded among institutional funders, postsecondary institutions and learning providers, and major employers as a vital actor at the intersection of research, policy, and practice with a focus on systems change. The Individual Giving team will be central to JFF’s ability to build capacity and impact under-resourced communities for generations to come.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Individual Giving and Engagement, in this newly created role the Manager will help the team build an entirely new and robust individual giving practice. This person will also work closely with the Senior Director to identify and track high-net-worth individual (HNWI) donors. The Development Manager will be a key member of the team as they will be supporting JFF in building a bold, aspirational, and successful individual giving practice and donor engagement program to provide critical unrestricted and organizational capacity investments that will help JFF realize an ambitious vision for impact.
